PROLOGUE: Mary and Rocco were married in May of 1963 and honeymooned on a cruise liner to the Bahamas. Nine months later our daughter Mary-Lynne was born. Seventeen months later our first son Stephen was born, and exactly three years after the birth of our daughter, our second son David was born.
We bought our first home three weeks before Steve was born. It was a 6-room ranch, newly built on a five dollar deposit in East Hartford, Ct. Twelve years later we had a new home built in Glastonbury, Ct. It was an 8-room colonial, with a two car garage on an acre plus lot on Jamestown Court.
The children are now married and have their own families. I was employed as a Biochemist in Newborn Screening for the state of Connecticut for 37 years prior to my retirement. Mary resumed her career a few years after David was born and retired after nearly 25 years with the State Labor Department.

Let us now meet the members of the "DiCenso Family."

First in lineage is great-grandpa Louis Battiston, who a year ago became a great granfather for the fifth time to Jenna Richter. Louie, as we all affectionately like to call him, still lives in his home and is very proud of his "garden of roses" he maintains. He no longer drives but he does own a 1967 cadillac which is now an antique and is in immaculate condition.
His second daughter, Ginny, a real estate professional and mother to Kim and Elizabeth and son Matt, lives in South Windsor with her two dogs and special friend Rick. Kim and her husband Steve Richter live in Boulder, Co. and are the proud parents to one year old Jenna. Steve and Kim are graduates of Northeastern University, and Steve hails from Fairfield, Ct.
Elizabeth lives in suburban Boston and is a graduate of Bently College and is a computer systems consultant.
Her son Matt also has settled in Boulder and is a research Engineer in the Biotechnology field.
